Lay Gonzalo Pacheco and Arturo Miranda Blanco have developed the attached graph shows the behavior over time (1950-2005) of public education expenditure (GEP) to product Gross domestic product (GDP) of Peru, information revealing the value assigned to public education, the economy as a whole. The disclosure of the indicator is the current debate within the Public Sector Budget 2008 and the proposal of the National Education Council benefit the public education sector with a minimum of 6% of GDP, as agreed by the political forces about five years ago. Young students of the Faculty of Education at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Lima, Peru) answered the question.
